Biography

Dr. Monika Srivastava is an Assistant Professor in Psychology at the School of Social Sciences and Humanities, VIT-AP University, Andhra Pradesh, India. She has a PhD in the area of positive clinical psychology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bhilai. Her PhD work focuses on death anxiety among Indian nurses through a positive psychology lens. Her master's was in Psychology from the Central University of South Bihar. Her publications in international and national journals include experimental studies on positive psychology interventions, death anxiety, factor structure, validation studies, reflective fieldwork, and the societal impact of her work using a pathway approach. Her research interests include positive psychology, clinical psychology, death anxiety studies, resilience, work engagement, and well-being. She is a member of the American Psychological Association and the International Positive Psychology Association.
