Biography

Laurie Sands and Suzy Kujawa are advanced practice nurses specializing in the treatment and care of children with chest wall deformities at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.  Laurie received her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in 2000 and her master’s degree from the University of California Los Angeles in 2006. Suzy received her bachelor’s degree from University of Kansas in 2003 and her master’s degree from University of Illinois- Chicago in 2008. They have been working together since 2009.  Laurie and Suzy are involved in many special interest groups in pediatric healthcare.
