Dr. Fatemeh Pourhaji is an Assistant Professor specializing in health education, behavioral change models, and occupational health promotion. She holds a PhD in Health Education from Tarbiat Modares University and has extensive research experience applying theoretical frameworks—including the PRECEDE-PROCEED model, Protection Motivation Theory, and Health Action Process Approach—to design evidence-based interventions for worker safety, chronic disease prevention, and health literacy enhancement. She has served as principal investigator or co-investigator on more than 30 national and international research projects and authored over 70 peer-reviewed publications in reputable ISI/Scopus-indexed journals such as Disaster Medicine and Public Health Preparedness, Acta Scientiarum. Health Sciences, and Cancer Reports. Her work emphasizes translating behavioral theory into practical, community-based health programs, particularly for vulnerable occupational groups. Dr. Pourhaji is a member of Iran's National Elite Foundation, a reviewer for multiple international journals, and a frequent speaker at global nursing and public health conferences across Asia and Europe. She previously served as Deputy of Research at the School of Public Health, Torbat Heydariyeh University of Medical Sciences, and actively contributes to health policy development focused on social determinants of health and health equity in underserved regions.
