Biography

Dr. Abdulaziz Abaoud, an Assistant Professor of Medical Surgical Nursing, and currently acting as the head of the Department of Nursing Sciences at the College of Applied Medical Sciences, Shaqra University, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Abaoud is interested in diabetes mellitus and how suffering patients experience the disease and associated comorbidities including sleep problems and depression. In addition, Dr. Abaoud is an active member of different research teams with fellow nursing researchers and researchers from other medical fields. Dr. Abaoud received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (2011); a Master of Science in Nursing from Saint Louis University, St. Louis, MO, USA (2017); and a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing from Saint Louis University, St. Louis, MO, USA (2022).
