Her efforts have drawn many new faces into our Nursing Faculty both full-time and part-time that provides students with excellent connectivity to the present and future of nursing. Dr. Ross has taken a focused interest in our community and through a diverse Community Advisory Board to identify ways to enhance the educational environment for both the faculty and students. She remains active in the classroom as well as working in one of the regional hospitals intermittently to identify new and advancing trends in the hospital setting and practice advancements. Dr. Ross' focus has been finding funding resources beyond the College Budget to continually improve faculty and student access to updated resources like the use of Virtual nursing simulation scenarios and advance equipment while supporting our growing Standardized Patient pool for student engagement in the labs and classrooms. Dr. Ross has worked tirelessly to promote the program and all the Health Sciences. She has worked with multiple universities to bridge our students to extended education to take the next steps toward a BSN.
