Biography

Dr. Leni Merdawati is a nurse researcher who completed her Ph.D. at Taipei Medical University, Taiwan, specializing in psychosocial oncology, survivorship, and patient-centered care innovation. She serves as a lecturer and researcher at Universitas Andalas, Indonesia, and collaborates internationally in academic, research, and clinical development initiatives. Her work focuses on understanding psychosocial determinants among cancer patients, particularly loneliness, stigma, distress, and frailty, and translating these insights into effective nursing interventions. She has been invited as a keynote speaker, guest lecturer, and research collaborator across Asia, advancing global oncology nursing.
