Title: Leveraging technology and innovation in nursing practice to improve patient outcomes in low resource settings

Abstract

In today’s evolving healthcare landscape, technological innovation is not a luxury, it is a necessity. This presentation explores practical, cost-effective innovations in nursing that can significantly improve patient outcomes in low-resource settings, particularly in parts of Africa and other developing regions. From mobile health apps and tele-nursing platforms to solar-powered cold chain systems for vaccines and simplified digital record-keeping, we will examine real-world tools that nurses can use to save lives despite limited infrastructure.
